I have it at work running on Windows 7 SP1 and Windows 8 on my HP laptop. No lag, no loss in quality. The only thing it doesn't do is understand the scroll wheel. I wish they would just tweak it so it would work in Mountain Lion, then my life would be perfect.
Thanks to MarkFFH for the heads-up and link to Adobe's site for the FH MXa OS X registration / activation. Ever since migrating FH MXa from my 'Tiger' Mac to the 'Snow Leopard' machine, the icon upon launching would jump up and down for a few seconds and then stop. I was therefore forced to use Illustrator, which may be a fine program for some people, but it's unnecessarily complex and aggravating to use compared to FreeHand MXa. Oddly enough, I noticed I had already downloaded other 'activation' codes - one from this year - that, when placed in the same location, failed to cause FH MXa to launch as promised. This code, however, worked as advertised and I am once more a happy FreeHand MXa camper. Thanks again to MarkFFH for the heads-up.
My Freehand MX 11 stopped working this past February for no reason. I can find any information on what the problem may be. If you have any information, I would greatly appreciate it.
